THE JOY OF SHARING!

Earlier this year I decided it was time to offer some insight into homeopathy and how to treat friends and family safely with the aid of a Homeopathic First Aid kit, put together by Helios Homeopathic Pharmacy who are based in the U.K..

Bringing small groups of people together on a home prescriber course like this was a very joyful experience for me, and all participants gave very positive feedback about what they had learnt on the day, and seemed keen to know more!

Homeopathy is sometimes in the unknown realms of healthcare options with people either misunderstanding what it is, or saying they have never heard of it. I find it a little disappointing that here in the U.K. it sometimes gets negative press, despite the fact that we had homeopathy on the NHS up until a few years ago, with several homeopathic hospitals, some of which are still being used today, and thousands of people use it as their main healthcare model today. If we look further afield, it is used by millions of people worldwide, particularly in Europe and India alone.

It has stood the test of time, originating in the 1800s, and part of my course included a brief outline of the history of homeopathy, where it came from, information about it’s founder, and how it developed from its early beginnings. When you understand that this healthcare system has solid foundations and a philosophy which still stands firm today, it is no surprise that it is a safe and effective treatment, which works in harmony with our body’s own natural rhythms.

Welcoming people in to educate them about homeopathy, giving them the confidence to learn how to use the remedies in their kits, sharing success stories, giving them confidence to use homeopathy to treat acute accidents and ailments, all whilst having a lovely sociable experience, laughing, sharing tea, cakes, and any other healthy alternatives people chose, truly was a wonderful experience.

I look forward to delivering more courses in the future, and will hopefully find that perfect location to offer a space that can hold more people than around my kitchen table!

Why should we keep all this knowledge to ourselves! It is there to empower us, be understood, spread far and wide, and this in itself has brought me joy, simply by sharing.
